We are pleased to present the latest monthly information from PZPM which is a supplement to the report""eRegistrations with the AFIR indicator as of the end of JUNE 2024.
The information was collected and compiled by PZPM's Analysis and Statistics team based on data from CEP and EIPA.

eRegistrations - PZPM report on first registrations of new vehicles powered by alternative fuels in MAY 2024

We are pleased to announce  a monthly press release entitled "eRegistrations" on the first registrations of new vehicles with alternative fuels as for MAY 2024
The publication contains a detailed analysis of the first registrations of passenger cars, vans up to 3.5 t, trucks over 3.5 t, buses, motorcycles and mopeds, as well as up-to-date information on CNG and LNG charging and refueling infrastructure.
The analysis was prepared by PZPM based on the Central Vehicle Register (KPRM/MC) and EIPA.  Overview

PZPM - ACEA - New registrations of PC by fuel - APRIL 2024

New car registrations: +13.7% in April 2024; battery electric 11.9% market share

In April 2024, the European Union car market grew by 13.7%, with new registrations totalling 913,995 units, driven by strong increases across all major markets: Spain (+23.1%), Germany (+19.8%), France (+10.9%), and Italy (+7.7%).

10 days of MAY 2024 - new registrations PC, LCV, CV and PTW

After 10 days of MAY this year, double and single-digit increases in registrations were recorded in all segments of new vehicles.
During the first 10 days of the current month, there were registered:    9,864 passenger cars (+21.7% y/y)

  •     882 light commercial vehicles , up 5.8% y/y
  •     Sales of new heavy trucks over 3.5t rose 19.9% to 802 units.
  •     Unicycles continued their upward trend : Motorcycles: 1163 units. +21.9% y/y ; Scooters: 462 pcs. +20.9% y/y.
